Currents, an evening with Christine Manfield
On Tuesday, 18th August, we're welcoming acclaimed chef and food writer Christine Manfield for a dinner in our upstairs dining room.
One of Australia's most celebrated culinary voices, Christine has spent decades exploring the world's flavours – from owning three award-winning restaurants in Sydney and London, to twenty-six years leading bespoke culinary journeys through India, Bhutan, Morocco, Italy and beyond. Her cookbooks, including Tasting India and Fire and Spice, have shaped a generation of curious cooks. In recent years her focus has turned to regional Australia, celebrating First Nations culture, storytelling and agricultural excellence.
For one night only, our Head Chef Hannah Holleran and Christine are joining forces in the kitchen to prepare a menu that follows the currents, reflecting their shared love of coastal produce paired with flavours from around the world. Our Head Sommelier, Chris Webb, has curated a wine list that complements each dish and the stories behind them.
