Cumulus Inc. Presents: An Evening with MMAD Vineyard
On Thursday, 13 August, we're welcoming a piece of South Australian winemaking tradition into Flinders Lane.
Located in the dress circle of Blewitt Springs in McLaren Vale, MMAD Vineyard is the passion project of four friends and household names of Australian wine: Martin Shaw, Michael Hill-Smith MW, Adam Wadewitz and David LeMire MW — the partners behind Adelaide Hills benchmark Shaw + Smith. MMAD takes its name from its founders' initials, and the project is their love letter to old vines and the McLaren Vale sub-region where they grow best.
To mark the release of their new vintage, we're welcoming the quartet behind MMAD to our Dining Room for an evening celebrating their latest releases with a menu from our Head Chef, Hannah Holleran, built to match.
With all four partners seldom in the same room at once, this is a rare opportunity to hear the stories behind the vineyard and drink the wines in the company of the people who made them.
